LIFFEYGROUP GOLDEN RULES FOR LEARNING

                 

1.-MODELING-DO(always tell the students WHAT and HOW they are going to learn,how they are going to SHOW or EVALUATE themselves and what they are going  to learn).

1.-RATE OF SPEECH AND WAIT TIME.

2.-USE NONLINGUISTIC CUES - VISUAL AIDS.

3.-GIVING INSTRUCTIONS:DO. Give VERBAL AND WRITTEN instructions.

4.-DO REGULARLY CHECKS FOR UNDERSTANDING: DO NOT SIMPLY ASK : "Are there any questions?"

4.- -100 % ENGLISH. Do not BAN  the use of their language but Always ENCORAGE STUDENTS TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH.

5.- BUILD A POSITIVE AND LEARNING ENVIROMENT: Building RELATIONSHIPS.

6.- DO NOT TELL , SHOW/ LEARNING IS NOT GIVEN , ENGAGE TO LEARN.

7.- TEACHERS ARE COACHES NOT POLICE, WE GUIDE NOT ORDER LEARNING OR EDUCATION.

8.- ERROR CORRECTION: YES BUT USING ORAL AND WRITTEN LANGUAGE EXAMPLES IN THE CLASSROOM WITHOUT IDENTIFIYING THE STUDENT WHO MADE THE MISTAKE.

9.- LEARNING A  SECOND LANGUAGE IS A SEQUENTIAL PROCESS :From the first to the last stage ,none of them should be skipped, ONE STAGE BRINGS TO THE  NEXT ONE.

10.- Teach PHRASES not INDIVIDUAL WORDS ,when possible but always IN A CONTEXT.

11.- DO NOT TEACH PURE GRAMMAR RULES ,use always a context ,for example POINT OF VIEW STORIES.

12.- LISTEN FIRST /LISTEN TO AND ANSWER STORIES.

13.- LEARN DEEPLY:go SLOWLY and REPEAT often.

14.- USE ONLY REAL WORLD MATERIALS.
