Our world has drastically changed over the last years. The way we communicate and work is different, and the technological resources have increased the dimensions and built new spaces which were unbelievable. Why do we keep on following an educative system which belongs to a nineteenth century society when our students are being asked twenty first century competences? With these words we were introduced to the VII FORO EUROPEO, which took place 15th November, by ACADE president Jesús Nuñez.
We were lucky to live the theatre alive by Richar Gerner ,a master of the dramatic art, who represents in himself the educative change and the models which may help students of today to face the future. Moreover, we had the chance to talk to him and take a picture with him, what a privilege!. We could enjoy the practical part of the forum by means of” the party of creativity and arts” as it was said in one of the workshops. We could learn and practice some innovative teaching philosophy as Reggio Emilia.
As a way of summarizing what was and meant this
adventure as educators of our community, I would like to finish by saying that
we were witnesses and we hope to share with our people (educators and students)
the new views which are changing the way of educating in the world. Moreover, they
are showing us that nothing remains the same.
